During the growing season we experienced periods of intense heat, however this wine has delicate apple blossom aromatics and crisp natural acidity that come from balanced vines. The palate is generous in fresh fruit character whilst having a clean dry chalky finish.

The Local, is testament to the skill of the vigneron and careful site selection. The Western Branch vineyard, as depicted on the label, is a sloping north facing patch of ground, with vines planted into ancient weathered rock.
