  • 2005 Golding Chardonnay

The 2005 Chardonnay has fragrant aromas of white peach with roasted nut derived oak characters. The barrel fermented components have provided a biscuity creamy texture, whilst allowing the elegant cool climate chardonnay characters of tangerine and tropical fruits to integrate. The wine offers a a lively elegant palate with a persistent finish.

  • 2005 ‘Almond Grove’ Mourvedre

The fruit for this intensely flavored Mourvedre comes off a block of 60+ year old vines which were planted on the site of an old Almond Grove. The block is situated on alluvial soils in the Willunga foothills and has an east-west orientation. The color of the wine is a freakishly dense deep purple, with hints of black and blue. The juice is equally as rich and intense, but exhibits a fine balance of both power and elegance. Black and blue fruits mingle with nuances of exotic dry spices. Noticeably fine tannins add to the wine’s seductive personality

  • 2006 'Cafe Block' Shiraz

The “Café Block” Shiraz comes from vines planted in the early 1950’s. On the south-west boundary of this prized block there are still remnants of a Café that is now a wine bar. Sand over clay is the predominant soil type. This is a freakishly intense Shiraz with a noticeably dark, opaque purple color. Strikingly intense aromas of blueberry and raspberry with hints of violets are immediately evident. Those same characters dominate the palate. Mouth filling and lush with delicious secondary characters of coffee, mocha and spice. A standout Shiraz in any language
